there was a girl named april snow

in the winters of her town, the temperatures were very very low

but in the summertime, the sun was so strong

that nobody in the town could take it for long

april's favorite thing to do was to ride in a boat

and her favorite thing to wear was her big fluffy white coat

even when the summers would get very very hot

she would wear her coat, whether people liked it or not

although being hot was quite a bummer,

                     her coat inspired the nickname 'alaskan summer'
